Since 1974, Bichitra has been representing the Bengalis of the Motown community and surrounding areas and encouraging integration through socio-cultural initiatives open to all. Heartiest congratulations to our community friend and former Path Bhaban teacher, Dr. Khwaja Rahman, for becoming an IEEE Fellow, "a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation." He was rewarded the prestigious fellowship due to his contributions to permanent magnet electric machines for electrified vehicles at the Fellow Gala on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Mission Hills Country Club, 1677 S. Mission Hills Road, Northbrook, IL 60062.
