Pathbhaban - An Intro to Bengali

Bengali is the language of the people of Bengal, in eastern India. It is also the national language of Bangladesh, which was, but east Bengal, prior to the religiously based political separation of India from Bangladesh. Differences in religion notwithstanding, the people of the two Bengals stand united behind the thread of a common  language.

As one of our social obligations and responsibilities, a few of our enlightened Bichitra members have created "Pathbhaban". Literally  from "path - studies" and "bhaban - building", Pathbhaban is a Learning Center for Language as well as culture of the rich Bengali heritage of the Indian Subcontinent. Specially, the people with Bengali heritage, accomplish knowledge of Bengali language and culture.  Pathbhaban has variety of courses.

A student at Pathbhaban is moved through various courses of different levels, depending on the background and interest of the student. The vision of Pathbhaban is create a Group of people knowledgeable as well as proud of the Center, so the members can provide and share the Rich Culture and Heritage of Bengal Language.
